Spellbook’s June Product Spotlight

We released five updates across the Spellbook product suite this month, including our biggest launch to date: Autonomous Contract Management.

So with that, let's get into it.

Autonomous Contract Management is here

Spellbook started as a copilot for lawyers, and ACM is our next chapter. We're moving from AI that helps you work to AI that does the work, with lawyers making the calls that matter.

Autonomous Contract Management (Early Access)

From the moment a deal lands in your inbox to the day it renews years later, Spellbook helps with every step in between.

  1. Autonomous Intake & Triage: Contracts come in from wherever deals start, and Spellbook runs a first-pass review afacegainst your standards
  2. Integrated deal workspace: Every negotiation runs in one place so you can see which contract is waiting, who has it, and what needs your attention
  3. Intelligent repository: Every signed contract is searchable, stays working for you, and is monitored around the clock so renewals and new risks get flagged before they slip

It's rolling out to select teams now. Sign up for early access at spellbook.com/acm or read more about the launch here.

Reviews just got a lot simpler

Reviews now let you dial in the depth and run a full pass in just one click.

Review Depth Toggle

The new Depth Toggle lets you set just how deep Spellbook goes, so the results match the review you're actually running.

  • Light: Best for a fast check on low-risk or routine paper, this option flags high-importance issues only
  • Standard: A balanced review for most contracts, this option covers both high and medium-importance issues
  • Heavy: Used for high-stakes agreements or a thorough final pass, this option surfaces every issue Spellbook finds

Consolidated Reviews

We've merged General Review and Negotiate into a single "General Risks" and “Proofread” lens, so you get full coverage without needing to run multiple reviews. Add Deal Context to steer how Spellbook reviews your doc, and adjust the depth to control what gets flagged

Associate meets you where you work

You can now edit documents inside Associate and install it as an app on your phone.

Associate Editor

You can draft, edit, and format documents in the browser, and AI-suggested changes show up as tracked changes you can accept, reject, or refine. Everything is automatically saved to the project, and you can download it anytime.

Drafting and review now live in the same place, with no downloading, editing in Word, and re-uploading.

Mobile App Lite

Associate now works on tablets and phones, so you can review a contract or check in on a project from your phone instead of waiting until you're back at your desk. Add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome, and launch it full-screen with its own icon just like a native app.

And that's a wrap on June.

Five updates across the Spellbook product suite, including Autonomous Contract Management, which we've been working toward since the day we started Spellbook. Our product team doesn’t know what seasonality means, so stay tuned for what's coming in July.
