We released nine updates across the Spellbook product suite, including formatting in Word, more flexible Playbooks, and new experience for ACM users.
So with that, let’s get into it.
Spellbook’s Word add-in can now create and edit tables, leave Word comments on specific text, and modify numbered or bulleted lists to match your document’s existing style. It can also apply inline formatting like bold, italic, color, and font, so your redlines hold their structure through every change.

Ask can now generate comments alongside its suggested edits in the Word add-in. Spellbook adds them automatically, or you can add one yourself on the revision card. You can also assign it as internal or external, and edit or regenerate the comment at anytime.

You can now organize Playbook rules into groups, letting you run one group at a time on a document instead of the entire Playbook. Any groups that you build will also be included in your result exports too.

You can now add instructions that applies to every rule in a Playbook. Let's say you want to highlight your team’s standards or voice, that guidance will carry across the entire Playbook without being copied into each rule.

Org admins can now see how their team is using Spellbook. Usage is broken down by team and individual member, so you can see which features are getting used most and which people need more help.

Teams in Spellbook like Legal, Finance, or Procurement can now own deals, run pipelines, and act as approvers in ACM. This helps you route work to the right team instead of the right person, so deals keep moving even when someone is out.
When your team submits contracts for review, they now have their own portal in ACM that shows them every request they’ve made and where each contract stands, so they don't have to chase down legal for updates.

A Slack thread and its ACM deal now stay in sync. Replies and @ mentions in Slack land on the right deal, and any updates on the deal push back into the right Slack thread.

We made a handful of other updates to Spellbook ACM. Deal creation now takes up to 25 files per upload, pipelines now support up to 200 field options, one counterparty can now be associated with multiple deals, and you can now resize and reorder columns on the deals page.
November is already shaping up to be another big month, so stay tuned for what’s next.
